Text Box: A Cut above the rest

Text Box: Berkely Lodge was the first B&B we encountered upon our 10 day stay in Ireland on 4/1. Rooms were clean and comfortable and Bridie served a wonderful Irish Breakfast in a cute little sunporch filled with flowering plants. Located on a quiet road within walking distance of grocery store, downtown & pubs. Our group of 4 adults enjoyed the B&B experience in Ireland.

Text Box: On arrival on a wet and windy evening we were greeted by Bridie who gave us a very warm welcome. We were shown to our rooms and advised on all of the local attractions. Our rooms were very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. The town itself is a great spot and Bridies location is ideal. It's very close to everything. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of foods and fruit. I would highly recommend staying in this B&B if you are visiting Adare. Bridie certainly goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable.

Text Box: Lovely little B&B - very simple and homely. A little dated in terms of decor - but spotlessly clean and a bit like staying at Grandma's house. Lovely breakfasts.

Text Box: We had a party of 10, all family members and all arriving and leaving on different days. Bridie accomodated all of us and our schedules very efficiently. The house and rooms are clean and homey, with internet access and nice coffee/tea trays. It is quiet, yet very close to the grocery store, town center, restaurants and pubs. Bridie is very helpful when it comes to travel tips, restaurant reservations, etc. The breakfast is exceptional - cooked to order and served in a lovely garden room. After staying in other hotels and guest houses around Ireland, we think that this was the best value for our money.

Text Box: WONDERFUL , clean place to stay in Adare. Convenient to
everything yet out of the way of the main street noise. You can
walk to grocery, wine, beer, pub, restaurants, shops, Adare Manor and a lovely park in town.
Bridie went well beyond the call of duty to accommodate us.
We wanted to watch a dvd of movie filmed in Ireland and she
gave us her personal dvd player and called help in to set it
up for us. Bridie also accommodated us on our last day
there to tour and leave our car there after check out time.
The breakfast was delicious and a good hot and cold personally cooked assortment for everyone. The price was very reasonable tor the place, food and services.
I would definitely stay there again when in the area.
It is also a good location for a day trip to the Southern coast.

Text Box: Berkley Lodge is the perfect place to explore the beautiful little village of Adare. Bridie's home was a short walk to everything, including some wonderful ruins on the Adare Manor golf course. Bridie herself was warm and inviting, the epitomy of Irish hospitality. She helped us confirm our following night's reservations when we couldn't get a cell phone signal and even introduced us to our very first Irish Whiskey Porridge! We certainely reccomend a stay here. It's a great stopping point on your way from Galway to Dingle.

Text Box: What a wonderful place. Bridie was very welcoming upon our arrival. The home was decorated lovely for Christmas which made us feel right at home. The rooms are very cozy, tastefully decorated and have wireless internet access which is a huge plus. Breakfast was good and we loved the breakfast room, which is in a conservatory type room with lots of windows, it had a beautiful Christmas tree as well. Bridie obviously takes a lot of pride in keeping up her home here and it really shows. The location is right in the center of town. I would definitely stay here again.
