Visitor Attractions - Things to see and do in Adare
Adare Village was named a Heritage Town by the Irish Government and is renowned as being one of the most picturesque villages in Ireland. It has a unique mix of architecture ranging from traditional thatched roof cottages to the more English Tudor-style buildings which are a remanant of the old Dunraven Estate.
The village is a great place to visit and there are a number of pubs and good restaurants to enjoy, with Limerick City also being within easy reach. Adare Village is situated 16km (10 miles) from Limerick City. The main Limerick to Tralee road (the N21) comes thorugh the village. Berkeley Lodge guesthouse and B&B is on Station Road just off Main Street in Adare Village.
